What's Happening at Calvary

Don't Waste Your Twenties

Thursday, Apr 30 • 6:30p • Fellowship Hall
What if your 20s aren’t just a waiting room, but instead one of the most formative, meaningful decades of your life?

Join us for a night designed specifically for those in their 20s. We’ll hang out, share a meal (free food included!), and hear a message from Pastor Mark aimed at helping you see how God is at work in your life right now.

Whether you’re single, dating, engaged, or married; in college, or out of school; starting your career, raising kids, or a little of both; or just figuring out what’s next… then this night is for you.

Together, we’ll talk about what it looks like to glorify God in this season and how to live in such a way that your time is not wasted, but deeply fruitful.

Register today at calvaryenglewood.com/whatshappening. Please sign up by 4/28 so we can prepare the right amount of food!

A Theology of Sabbath

Wednesday, Apr 29th • 6:30p • Calvary Englewood
We live in a culture that never stops moving. Rest feels elusive, productivity is glorified, and exhaustion is often worn like a badge of honor. But from the very beginning, God gave His people a gift: Sabbath—a holy invitation to stop, delight, and dwell in his presence.

In this one-night class, we’ll explore: what Scripture teaches about Sabbath rest, how the Sabbath reveals God's heart for his people, why rest is not weakness but worship, and how we can recover this ancient practice in a modern world.

Join Pastor Ben at this Calvary Institute as he walks us through a theology of sabbath. Whether you feel overextended, spiritually weary, or simply curious, this class will help you slow down and rediscover the joy of resting in the Lord. Come be refreshed—not just in body, but in soul.

GATHERING TIMES

Sundays at 9am and 10:45am
We’d love to have you join us at one of our services. Here’s what you’ll find:
  • Friendly people. Whoever you are, you will be welcomed! One of our pastors would love to meet you. Please let us know what we can do to care for you while you’re here.
  • A relaxed atmosphere. Some folks like to dress up for church and others who don’t. Wear what’s comfortable for you, and you’ll fit right in.
  • Passionate worshipers. Our services include expository preaching from the Bible, songs both old and new, prayer, and the Lord’s Supper.

Bringing kids?
We love kids and yours will be welcomed here!  We have specialized learning environments for kids during each of our weekend services.  However, if you desire to worship as a family, we encourage you to do so!
