Go Local Opportunities

Join us in making Jesus non-ignorable in Denver

You can live on mission by joining the work of one of these partner organizations

North Littleton Promise

North Littleton Promise is looking for after school tutors, Bible guides, and leadership teachers for kids from immigrant families.
No Spanish required, only a heart for and experience working with kids and weekly availability from 3:45-6:15 pm on Mon, Tu, Wed, or Thurs. It will be the highlight of your week! Apply here.

Embrace Grace

This group provides emotional, practical, and spiritual support for single, young pregnant women who find themselves in an unexpected pregnancy. The primary goal of Embrace Grace is to empower the church to be a safe and nonjudgmental place for these young women to run to when they find out they are pregnant, instead of the last place they are welcomed because of shame and guilt. For more information on Embrace Grace ministries, please visit www.embracegrace.com.

Giving Heart

Giving Heart ministers to the homeless in Englewood. Learn about various ways you can volunteer including donating items, providing a meal, teaching a class, etc., on their website.

Calvary Go Local Team

Are you passionate about local outreach? Would you like to brainstorm about ideas about how to reach our neighbors with the Gospel, and help organize outreach and service opportunities? Our Go Local team would love your help! Contact pastor Jeff at jeff@thecalvary.org.

Angel Tree

We want to bless children of prisoners in our community! From Dec 1-14 choose a tag from the tree in the lobby with the name of a child who needs a Christmas gift. Email Anne Blok at theblokfamily@gmail.com with the name of the child selected and if you’d like to deliver gifts.

Whiz Kids

This school year, Calvary will be a host site for Whiz Kids! Whiz Kids serves kids by providing one-to-one tutoring, positive mentoring relationships and spiritual nurture in the name of and with the love of Jesus Christ. Learn more and apply to volunteer on their website.
